I'd recommend going 1st ---> 2nd ---> 5th(B&W)

you're not missing much by skipping 3rd and 4th imo, especially 3rd

So maybe Pokemon Yellow (or FireRed if you want) ---> Heart Gold ---> Pokemon White :D
