I spoke to a guy from EEDAR at E3 this week about this topic because I'm a huge freakin' nerd and was hugely dissapointed by Ninty not talking about Xenoblade or TLS and he told me there's a lot more involved with the localization than I might think because the Wii is region locked.  Seems a lot has to be changed in the switch over from one regions's discs to another.

Unfortunately this doesn't fix us not getting it, just thought you guys may be interested.

I doubt he was speaking from knowledge. The same game can be played on different region Wiis with no trouble using homebew (which is what I'm gonna do if I decide to import from Europe)

In fact, people can go even further and change the "region" of their Wii anytime they want, it's the same exact hardware

I wouldn't imagine it's an issue with the hardware but more the coding on the actual disc, but you may be right anyway.

Don't worry us UK people will let you know how the game is and provide you with screens, boasting ermm I mean our impressions, music and everything more in September when we discuss the games on the forums and enjoy playing the title in September (if rumors are true for a sep release)
