Both devs ignored multiple games.

MS ignored 17 previously announced Kinect titles, of which at least 5 are major (Project Dragon, Steel Batallion, Rise of Nightmares, Heavy Fire, Gears of War: Exile, etc). They also ignored XCOM and MechWarrior.

Sony ignored Agent, The Last Guardian and Twisted Metal.

So which developer was worse?

Well Minecraft and Dust 514 were both multiplat. I think MS ignored XCOM because it is now multi and the same may be true for Agent. I have no idea why MS ignored Mechwarrior unless it was pushed back for their next console, but no Alan Wake baffled me even more. I was sure Sony was gonna talk about Twisted Metal and The Last Guardian may be shown at TGS. MS may also be waiting for TGS to show their Japanese Kinect titles. As far as 360 vs PS3 I would have to say the 360 won because Sony was focused more on the Vita.

I did not know XCOM went multi-platform, and I feel you may be right about Agent. Rockstar won't ignore half it's market for a large scale game like this.

I feel the same way about E3 as you, it's as if more games were ignored then talked about.

Sony skipped The Last Guardian, which I agree with likely go to Tokyo Game show, but MS skipped Project Draco, Steel Batallion, Rise of Nightmares, and a slew of great Kinect games. Will they also be Tokyo game show?
