It can be fixed with an external hdd but it kinda sucks when the first thing you have to do after purchasing a new console is start buying extra peripherics...

DLC was mentioned at the presentation if I remember correctly, expandable USB storage should mena that it's not a big problem. The 360 arcade only has 4GB
