halo CE was amazing because of how influential it was to console shooters. Only goldeneye could have more credit than it. I have mixed feelings over the remake. While I loved playing the original halo. Now that every console fps has copied everything that made it so great, i won't be so utterly amazed by it. I'm not much of a nostalgia gamer unless there really hasn't been a game that improved on an old classic =X. As for the multiplayer, I loved CE's so much because multiplayer involved hanging out with a bunch of my friends playing it together at someone's basement. Playing it through live will make it lose a lot of its charm.
