Oddly enough, I didn't notice a huge boost with the beta drivers, but there was some. Be sure to uninstall 3D Vision as well, since you're presumably not using it. That improves performance. And download the patch.
With all of that done, you could feasibly get high spec, if you turn off SSAO and motion blur.
