Oh okay thats fine. So basically your preference lies with the NGP. Most of those NGP games can be found on PS3 so honestly I haven't found anything that makes it stand out too much. Also you say you want NGP more but if it comes out at a price range $350 will that make a difference?

As far as Cafe goes, when it launches is when the next gen of consoles begins (assuming it"ll launch first). I'm hoping the graphics quality is a whole leap ahead of PS3 which is possible but most people would say thats wishful thinking. Hype would die down yes but oh well, Nintendo pretty much has no choice but to show it off now with all the hype they've created . . .

You could say it's my preference yes, but it is most other hardcore gamers preferences aswell...unless you know a hardcore gamer who likes Nintendogs and Pilotwings, which would be very wierd.

And if the NGP launched at a price point of $350 (probably £250...same as the 3DS) then yes I wouldn't buy it, I will not buy portable games consoles for that price because they basically aren't worth it. I will pick the 3DS up when it has more games and it reaches a price point of £150, I was going to pick up a DS anyway, may aswell pay a few quid extra for some current gen games.

Same for the NGP, it already has a few games to brag about, but unless it is £150 I will not buy it, unless a killer game comes out for it, like an MGS4 remake or something.

I don't think Cafe will be significantly more powerful, there hasn't been a big enough advancement in technology yet, and this is Nintendo we are talking about here, why would they want to put state of the art hardware into Cafe. I don't really know what I want in the future, I might just retire completely from modern gaming and go back to my classic consoles, which is exactly what I did in 2002 and 2006, I enjoyed gaming more back then.

I guess I'm wierd then.  Also, you've missed Metal Gear, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, Conduit, and Mario 3D (to name just a few), as well as what are sure to be tons of announcements at E3.  Two games do not a system make.

Now now, let's not just start throwing names around, none of those titles are released and they could be complete crap, some of them aren't even confirmed, Nintendo were just touting big name developers at E3 2010 and we haven't heard anything since.

Zelda and MGS are the main games I am interested in, but those are remakes. Resident Evil Mercenaries looks interesting, I always loved Mercenaries on RE4, I even 5 starred them all before trophies and achievements came along. And I always love Mario, so I will pick that up too.

So the unreleased 3DS games might be complete crap, but the unreleased NGP games probably won't be.  Gotcha

No, I'm just saying the games themselves seems crap. Why bother bragging about new IP's or sequels to games that were crap on consoles in the first place, when you can't confirm that they will be any good.

The games I mentioned on NGP come from the biggest names in the business, a lot of which are from first party developers and get millions in funding from SONY, these games are guaranteed to be good.

Never did I claim that the games can't be judged until they are released, I'm just judging the games based on the developers and if they have previous installments on other consoles.

And also, by unreleased I mean NEVER WILL BE RELEASED. Nintendo were bragging about all the big names at E3 2010, fast forward a year and none of the interesting games they mentioned have even got release dates or trailers, they are vaporware.

Now don't start implying that I am a fanboy, being a smartass doesn't help either. Like I already said, I am getting both the 3DS and the NGP, probably the 3DS first infact. If you deny that the games library for the 3DS is weak then you are a fanboy, simple as that.

I didn't mean to imply anything of the sort, and I apologize if I did.  I don't appreciate the insinuation that I am one either.  I never denied that the 3DS has a weak library right now.  Mine's been more or less sitting on my shelf since a week after I bought it.

That said, just because you say something 'looks crap' or was 'crap on consoles in the first place' doesn't mean everyone thinks the same way.  A lot of people love Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, and many more.  You may have your preferences, as everyone does, but you cannot generalize them to the entire gamer population.

Anyway, didn't mean to spark an argument.  Was just interested in a bit of debate.  Thanks :)

Well I said the 3DS lacked games and you just started ranting and listing game after game, what did you expect me to think. And that's a shame, you should have waited a while for the price to drop.

And that's the way things work for me, on the 3DS I am only interested in about 6 games, the majority of which are remakes (which is kind of a good thing). But it still isn't enough to justify me purchasing one. When it comes to the NGP, I am interested in roughly 4 games and the damn thing hasn't been fully unveiled yet, who knows how many more games I would want at E3.

Sure those games that I liked are my opinion, but these games are high sellers and very critically acclaimed, so a lot of opinions would match mine.

Don't think I hate the 3DS, I would be able to forgive the lack of games if it wasn't for the fishy design and the absolutely rediculous price (it's bad enough in the US, it's even WORSE in the UK).
