They were smart enough to know that if Egypt conquered Palestine, they would be no more in control of their own destiny than they were under the British or Ottomans.

Arms contracts in the middle of a revolt from a neutral party, that even some of the jewish commanders agreed saved Israel. But hey, I guess that's fine by you, just liek it must have been fine by you when the CIA funded a whole bunch of other revolts all over the place in the past. I look down on any conflict in which neutral partes involve themselves in, I guess you don't. I would not be disagreeing with Israel at all if they had won the conflict with their own resources.

The demolishing part pertained solely to the white vs native conflict, not towards this particular one.
