Well, going against the grain helped them this gen.  Motion gaming was just different and appealing enough to bring in a lot of casuals for Nintendo.  But next gen, that won't help them because MS and Sony will both motion gaming right off the bat, not 4-5 years later.

And Cafe will only force MS and Sony kill off their systems if it is hugely successful at launch.  I don't see it initially being that big, since when it releases it will probably cost $150-$200 more than the cheapest PS3/360 SKU, while most of its games will be made up of slightly better looking ports.  Even if it is successful, I think Sony and MS were already shooting for a 2013/2014 launch for their next consoles.

But I don't want motion controls!!!

*cries in the corner*.

Lol, I wouldn't worry too much.  I'm sure Sony will keep its current model and just have motion controls as an optional control scheme, with only a few Move-only games, as opposed to forcing you to play with them.

They need to crap that, it just doesn't work, and it isn't the audience that SONY should be targetting. Let Nintendo do that.
