I know many girls who see the advertisement for games on other consoles and form opinions about it because of them. I have female friends who said they would never get a PS3 because they didn't like those kinds of games(They of course didn't know about games like SingStar and Buzz). I do think Nintendo is better at marketing than Sony and might be better at doing such but I do have my reasons if only anecdotal to see it as a possible problem.
