Really what casued ME 2 to have a great launch and only sell around 2.3 million with not so great legs. I don't expect ME3 tog et Uncharted 3 and BBC3 sales. And how is Gears not selling well?

Ok self admitedly what I read from the first bolded was "Gears is still going to tank." but now that I read it again it makes much more sense lol.

As for ME2 it had great reviews and everyone I know who played it IRL thinks its one of the best games they've ever played. So it didn't get a bad response...it just for some reason didn't sell as much as I would have liked it. But the 2.3 million it sold so far is definitely not shabby at all....it should hit 2.5-2.6 million LT better marketing would have made it sold closer to 3 million IMO.

john mass effect 2 will sell atleast 3 million lifetime. in the last 20 weeks its sold 360k units. its at 2.37 right now. it will probably be at 2.75 million or more when mass effect 3 comes out. acording to VGchartz mass effect 1 has sold exactly 250k units since mass effect 2 came out. So assuming mass effect 2 does the same it will pass 3 million, more realalisticly it will do 3.25 million lifetime not acounting for adjustments.
