60fps will be a task for 5750 when it comes to modern games. I have to retract my thoughts, I was not aware that taxes are added to prices in USA. Here they are included in prices. So you did not pay way too much for your computer. Just too much. :P You want a hexa-core, fine. May I ask for what? Since you did not mention a cpu-cooler or any specific case fans, I am assuming you are using very basic cooling. You won't be able to overclock your CPU much. You made a big deal out of your computer, you even made a thread about it. I merely commented on your purchase with honesty. |
Yeah...still don't need anything higher than 30 fps because I can't tell the difference. It's still a pretty good deal. I paid 700 for that piece of shit Acer back in 2008. :P Not to mention that my monitor has a 60Hz refresh rate. I don't need anything higher. Like these people with 240Hz monitor refresh, seriously, who the fuck needs that?
Just because I can. That's a good enough reason for me.
That's why I'm not going to overclock it right away :P And besides, putting water based cooling into a computer is just retarded. Ooo...a bunch of tubes filled with water. If one of them breaks, your mobo is fucked. Just what I need, more of my shit breaking on me.
Yeah, I made a big deal out my purchase. That's called being a fanboy. And when I get a Radeon 6950, you will see another thread about it with upgraded specs :P I'll have most likely overclocked the CPU by then. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of money like everyone else seems to and you just don't seem to get that. I'm 20 years old...not 28 and I live in the United States and our economy sucks balls and our money isn't worth shite. I'm willing to bet that you wouldn't have paid more than 300 pounds for a computer like this and that's pretty much 700 USD.
And of course, all the rest of the PC forum users know that I've come a long way since my Athlon X2 processor. And my ATi Radeon X1950 graphics.
