I do think it might hurt some things, it will seriously hurt the PSN's image, and that might hurt things in a while but I am not too sure, I do feel a little concerned especially as PSN is VERY important for Sony
PSN is also the basis of Qriocity, which is a major part of their multimedia strategy for their newly announced tablets, Vaio PCs, BRAVIA TVs and they are coming to the Sony Ericsson smartphones too soon, so if this comprimises this then that could be a major issue beyond just PlayStation
