You have to remember that the VGC figures here are for the Americas, whereas the NPD is only the USA, which is generally taken to represent 87% of the Americas numbers

490x87%=426

I was thinking of 90% and didn't really bother doing the maths, it is certainly nothing major, the Wii and PS3 are the only ones that actually need some attention
