Seems pretty family freindly to me, I mean it allows parents to watch TV while the kids play games and being able to stream to multiple screens will hopefully mean lots of local multiplayer games, the fact that it doesn't need a TV to play games means it will be easy to put in kids rooms whithout the need to get another TV should make it very popular.
multiplayer familly fun and the ability to play the games wthout a TV makes it massivly familly freindly.
And just imagine if it comes with a web browser and netflix (which it will) I know people that just use a tablet to browse the net and use facebook and twitter while watching TV adding that functionality would be a big selling point to many casual gamers, and the ability to watch TV shows and movies without a TV will also be very popular feature.
Now if only they could add the feture of playing 2 or more games simultaneously even if it was just simple DLC or emulated games.
