I think Nintendo will show more about Motion Plus games than another system

Again, I bring up that gap between now and the release of the next system. Anything later than the end of this year would be long enough to lose momentum needed to keep their customer base, get any new ones if they find another killer app, and keep revenue high.

Coasting is not a financially viable option unless they want to pull a Saturn surprise with the next system. That's why I say they won't do it.

to me, this year is not completely how of the question.  although more likely i think it will be basically on the 3DS's one year anniversy.  there are a lot of rumors out there and for the most part you have to be pretty skeptical.  but one of threads (and i can't remember which one) had a quote that was very interesting to me.  something along the lines of ...

"nintendo is working really hard to gather 3rd party support by putting the hardware in front of them already.  and when tell people you get leaks".

match that with the "where there's smoke there's fire" quote via miyamoto and i really think nintendo is getting close to releasing their hardware.  close meaning like around a year from now.   zelda released both the wii/wii2 doesn't sound so ridiculous anymore.
