OT:

Without any SW or focus on Wii, I can't see a $30 cut doing significant numbers ... so I expect an average of 130/150k over the summer.

WITHOUT a price cut ... I don't expect it to go below 85k ...

Japan - 5k
Americas - 40k
EMEAA - 40k

Roughly ...

Right. Thank you Seece (And Machina, saves me the hassle of sending strong letters out to the pair of you...at least you had the decency to stop.)

Your predictions seem fairly accurate, but 5k in Japan is a bit low for my liking. Even with the current trends...I don't see it falling much harder personally. But I've been wrong before...

I would have laughed at your silly attempt to tell me off O_0

Japan, 5k .. in the middle of summer it'll reach that without a price cut.

What is amazing is how it's doing VS PS3 which is doing relatively decent numbers.

I would have just reffered you to Rule 8 of the forum rules is all...

I don't know much about Japan other than they're into some weird stuff. Which is why the 360 fails so badly and the PSP outsells the 5-week old rival there

Don't expect the PS3 to stay like this for long.

Not surprised PSP is beating the 3DS there, it's a much more attractive offer right now.

And if PS3 sales havn't dropped over the last month or so, I can't see them going rapidly down now ...

That would make sense if the PSP wasn't the worst selling console pretty much every single week WW...

The PS3 has had a steady stream of releases and advertising, offers etc. In the summer it's possible that it will drop back behind the Wii and even the 360 without compelling SW. The PS3 isn't the Wii, it isn't the PS2, but it's certainly FAR more attractive than this time last year. I think that gets a lot of sales. It got one from me, after all.
