PS3 sales are fine now, but you have to remember that PS2 only sold 45m in the USA, and so if say, 40m of those users and 15m Xbox users went to X360 and PS3 (with some buying Wii too) the HD consoles are fairly close to saturation in the USA (40m / 55m) - which is the main reason why PS3 hasn't been able to catch up in the USA. In Europe HD sales didn't start saturating until PS3 matured, and Japan has largely rejected both systems, and Wii really.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.
