Hahaha this made me laugh... your post is full of win oniyide, this doesn't happen often, savor this moment.

OT:  I do agree this game is not pushing the 3DS graphically, personally though I'm going to go out in a limb and say it's due to the size limitations at the moment, 2GB isn't much more than a UMD, it's enough to put parts of PS3 and 360 games on the 3DS (SSFIV having the console models but backgrounds were the sacrifice there, RE Mercs will be essentially just be the multiplayer part of RE5)

So you can't expect SSFIV models and texture work throughout the game because... lets face facts... the world in OoT is pretty frickin huge, then they're going back and taking out all the rooms that were simply a 2D image and making them 3D environments, doing good texture work all around, and people expect more to fit in 2GB?  Please if people want perspective here, UMDs hold 1.6GB, the best graphical game on the PSP is Ghost of Sparta, and that game is short and they reuse models over and over to conserve space, same goes for Peace Walker but I wouldn't say that game has as good of texture work or models of the GoW games on PSP... but even then neighter of those titles are nearly as large as OoT in world size, various environments (not reused) and many different enemies.

I don't think size is the problem here, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep doesn't reuse much and that looks better than this and has the variety of levels to back it up.  Though I agree in one way, the scope of Hyrule is pretty big, but I'm sure the 3DS can handle Gamecube level of graphics and there's no reason for the game too look that much worse than Twilight Princess.  Like even if they had to trim textures down the polygon counts should be higher and the lighting should be a lot better.  But as I said earlier, I'm still getting this game regardless and it does look better than the orginal.

True true very true, GC discs are about the same size as UMDs I think the same in capacity in fact.  Though Birth By Sleep did reuse a lot... there were no where near the variety of enemies in BBS as there are in the PS2 games, but I digress, yes they could do a bit more I feel, but they could also be trying not to overstep their boundaries and change the style completely.  But I would say the textures of the evironments in OoT up close seem less blurry than TP up close, but that could easily be explained by two things, the solid colors of OoT and the compression needed to fit that huge of a game on a GC disc.

Yeah Birth By Sleep didn't have the same variety of enemies, but I meant the stages, they had a good 10 worlds and they had a decent amount of stages/rooms in these levels.  And I see what you mean by the textures, there were quite a bit of low res textures in Twilight Princess, but the post processing and lighting made it look very nice and none of that is in this port/remake.
