| Bristow9091 said: Quick note: I used to own a Wii when it first came out, big mistake to be honest since there were no good games out for it at the time and I sold it. I can get Metroid Prime Trilogy for £30 ($45) Used (Apparently it's like new, only been played once...) or £40 ($60) New, so it's either not out of print yet, or just not really hard to find at all, lol. These prices are from Amazon, I could get it cheaper elsewhere (I use Gamestracker to look for bargains :D) but I can't be bothered signing up to other websites haha. I can get Super Smash Bros. Brawl for only £8 ($12) New, Monster Hunter Tri for £20 ($30) New, and Twilight Princess for £12 ($18) New. These prices are pretty cheap to be honest, lol... I might have to order them right now, even if I don't get a Wii yet. So it turns out on Play.com they're selling Madworld for only £4 ($6) so I've already ordered it, lol... |
So yeah...Monster Hunter Tri will take you several hundred hours to complete, so get that first (I hear a very kind and friendly and awesome user has created a guild thread if you're interested
)
Also, if you like MPT, how about Other M? Not as bad as people may say, and good for #8 in Gamestation.
If you like the sound of Xenoblade then Fragile Dreams and also Tales of Symphonia may be worth it (original is GC but it's all good)
Madworld fits nicely with both No More Heroes 1 and 2, and also Epic Mickey goes with DKCR, Galaxy 1 and 2 (seriously, play these games), NSMBWii, Sonic Colours, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Klonoa.
How about Mario Kart for a racer? And F1 is also a good choice. If you're doing that you'll need Super Smash Bros. BRAWL, but then again, there's PunchOut...
Is Zelda for you? If so get TP and Okami as preparation for Skyward Sword. And Radiant Dawn is a good timesink as well, if you fancy it. I've played that for over 350 hours even! The Forgotten Sands is also ejoyable, and a nice challenge to boot.
A fan of shooters? Then how about The Conduit and Goldeneye? But then there's Red Steel 2 (NOT the original), and Black Ops Wii is also enjoyable. Conduit 2 is out soon, so you could get that.
Then there's Resi4 as well, a nice game which mixes survival and shooter. Like survival? How about the other Resi games and also Silent Hill? Darkside and Umbrella Chronicles are nice as well...
Which leads on to Sin And Punishment 2, and also Dead Space: Extraction. Both great games if you see them cheap.
That about concludes the introductory tour of Wii games which may be to your liking. Just, don't forget Little King's Story as well OK?
