| Slimebeast said: It just doesn't make any sense that Homefront almost outsold Crisis 2. On its second week! I dont buy that. Crisis 2 is huge and I fink there was a EA press release confirming its sales are bigger than Dragon Age 2 and Dead Spaces 2. I am fully convinced that Crisis first week clearly outsold Homefront first week. No doubt at all. |
Wait until Americas data comes in. I'm shocked to see Homefront get just as strong sales as Crysis 2. Good release window for that game.
What surprises me more is that despite 360 being more popular to the FPS crowd, Crysis 2, Homefront, and even Dragon Age 2 (a game which is more popular on the 360) did not boost 360 sales significantly over PS3's in the last 3 weeks.PS3 seems to be fixed at a higher level now thanks to Killzone 3. Before that PS3 and 360 were consistantly tied. Unusual that that one rather small exclusive did this to PS3, but what I consider a bigger game (LBP2) did nothing.
Maybe this implies upcoming adustments? or maybe this is VGC's way to bend numbers to make up for a stonger then expected Q1 for Sony. Either way, I have no clue if PS3 will continue to hold this % lead over 360 during the year. Don't really care, but I think Wii should be in third.
Let's wait until Americas data to judge Crysis 2's sales. I would be shocked if Crysis 2 week 1 sales are lower then Homefronts.
