I agree, if only because of that timed section with the doors which is so tough on veteran. Difficulty on veteran for me:
Call of Duty 3>>WaW>>4>2>>>MW2.
The BioShock franchise is definitely the easiest on hardest settings. Call of Duty is pretty easy too. Left 4 Dead is almost impossible without reliable human teammates or utilising the game's glitches, Left 4 Dead 2 even harder thanks to realism mode, and I've never completed (or even attempted) a Halo on legendary without a friend.

Thank god I never tried CoD3 on Veteran :P Just not worth it.
And still missing 3 levels in World at War :( Too scared to start Heart of the Reich.
Have you played CoD1 and Black Ops ? Would like to see them in there.
IMO Black Ops is slightly harder than MW2 (still very easy) and Call of Duty is quite hard. Usually I'm getting hit once at the beginning of the level and then I'm stuck with 25 health until the rest of the level since there aren't any medikits on veteran >.>
Would classify it right below or at the same level as World at War.
