Why have I first discovered this awesome thread now?
Anyways, I'm able to answer any questions about Sweden I guess.
Also, I have a question for french people.
How come you're so harsh against kids? Or at least that's the impression I've been getting from my french lessions in High School. My french teacher told me that if a kid would call his/her mother a name, or do something along that like in france, she would slap him/her instantly, and it would be considered normal. Also, the way your school system works also seems really really tough, having to work until 17:00 and being based on learning through repetition and memorizing long texts.
If I'm wrong about something please tell me :P After all, all I know is from talking to people who have been to france. However, it would be interresting to know how you see it all.
