I still remember to this day, in the original pokemon gold I was training a venasaur at the pokemon league, I forget which elite four member uses a clefairy(or clefable), and venasaur vs clefairy(or clefable) for the win I had the pokemon at about 1/3 of it's health just one more move to win it, clefairy(or clafable) uses metronome and i'm like"I got this in the bag!!!" all of a sudden "clefairy(or clefable) uses Aeroblast" knocked out my venasaur on one it and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
a lucky break for me was I was battling my friend, and it was arceus(mine) vs darkria for the win, my arcues had gotten paralyzed from his raikou which knew zap cannon and had about 1/4 of it health, he was so conifednt he was going to win and I did to, but I then I realized he wound't be able to put me to sleep! then to make it better I had given my arcues a dark plate and his darkrai knew dark void, nightmare, dream eater, psychc. i was like "what are the odds" and after a few moves I knocked it out with judgement!!!
