Now your just being difficult. Do you actually think I think gifts are wrong? Be  a little realistic. I understand some things can be free... video games are not free though.

It's stealing.

Then define stealing for me, because whatever your definition is I bet you I can show you just how ignorant it is. You provided me with one, and I went ahead and showed you why it's just plain stupid. I would also like to know how Google's software (like android, it's a freaking complete OS) is different than a game company's software, yet you feel fine not paying for it

To get something without paying for it. Gifts are exeptions because thier gifts.

I would also like to define a gift.

Gifts are when you sacrfice something for someone and you no longer have it or use it. The sacrfice makes it a gift.

I guess in this case it does matter if the item dissappears.

Good deeds vs Bad deeds...

They are opposites in that area... makes sense.

I want your definition of stealing.

So I guess if I give a friend of mine a CD I copied it's not a gift? Also how do you explain how using Google software isn't theft but developer software is theft?

My definition of stealing does not matter because you are the one claiming that piracy is theft, so the burden of proof is on you, not me. All I have to do is show that your definition is bad.

Yes exactly it's theft if you copy a CD and give it to a friend. You didn't give it as a gift btw since you still own a copy. A gift requires sacrfice. You didn't sacrifice the CD, it wasn't gifted.

I've never used Google software, so I'm not too sure about it. But you did say it's a Free OS. Things like that are either  by permission of the creator or are actually paid for by ads. Also those are services, not products. Different market, different ways of doing business so on that I think they are not relevant enough to compare.

You have a definition of why it ISN'T stealing so spill it.

Right there. First of all, no it's not a different market. In fact the people who use games are probably entirely contained within the set of people who use google software. Much of google is supported by ads, but Android specifically isn't, as well as Google Earth, at least not since lat time I looked at it, Google Chrome, and many of the things frfrom Google Labs. Their business model is obviously working.

My definition was already presented, which you countered with your incredibly ignorant one, which I proceeded to completely refute. Now it's your turn to amend your argument.
