ok more questions, to any southern USA members, why do most southerners like to keep with the "rebel mentality"

It is a mix of racism and we felt that we got jipped by the north. Our general was so much better, and the north was brutal when they swept through the south. The north also stole our right to secede, which angered us. Not to mention Abraham Lincoln was an idiot. His Emancipation Proclamation was the dumbest thing ever. It did not even free the slaves in the union(yes, some union states still had slaves. Missouri being the main one I think). Now the South is behind the north in things like edumacation. Forget the North! THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!/s (for the last sentence)
