Comparing Gears of War 3 and Halo: Reach pre-orders... WOW. Halo Reach only gained 4k with 27 weeks left (1/6th of Gears 3), and only had 43k total (1/5th of Gears 3). It was also 11th place, and didn't sequre 1sts until After Starcraft 2 launched.
Wow if Gears 3 keeps this up, nevermind 7 million, it may break 10! However keep in mind, Halo: Reach's release date was only just announced at this time, and it's beta was less hyped and not dated. Then again ODST did have Reach Beta promo codes..
I don't think Gears will be as big as Reach, but this will be the biggest Gears to date, and I think Reach will be sub-Halo 3. So these two franchises will be closer in sales then ever before (ODST and Wars are not mainstream Halo games, just like Exile is probably not a mainstream Gears title)/
Also, still no 3DS games! WOW Next week, surely there will be a 3DS game, as 5 games are leaving the Pre-Orders this week. I hope Forza 4 and Duke Nukem enter the list soon too.
