I've had a similar feeling.
I'd love more Phoenix Wright, EBA, or N64 port games like MK64 or SM64...but we're not really getting them.
Maybe I just haven't been trying enough games, but I haven't seen any games or heard about many future DS games that interest me. That said, I still play a lot of my games from time to time.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
