I am posting this because the effect in Japan will be dramatic and this will truly harm any chances of the PS3 catching the 360. I would suspect the remainder of 2011 in Japan to be 50% of the sales the remainder of 2010.

I really doubt the disasters are going to effect sales that badly. Check Media Create, PS3 actually increased in sales last week. Yes, sales will be affected but it most likely won't have much of a long term impact.

if earthquake didn't happened,PS3 should be 40000 up last week

just check back 2010 March when Yakuza 4 and Fist of north star released
