What would it take to sell you on NGP/3DS?

Meh, it's the same argument for the PS3 at launch.  Yes, for $600 the stuff you got with your PS3 was a deal, didn't mean it was worth it though.

The same goes for the 3DS and NGP to me.  Yes, those pieces are worth $250 or more but that doesn't mean I want to pay that much for a hand held.

Exactly it's what works best for you, if those new bells and whistles don't add enough to your gaming experience then it's not worth paying the extra money.  For me it would be the games and the 3DS has games I want to play on the go already, 3D enhances the experience to me especially since flying and platform games work better with a real sense of depth, both of which are genres I enjoy.  

So for me 3DS is worth it, for you it needs to be cheaper since you have a set limit for your handhelds

Oh compeltely agree it's dependant on the person, if you want to pay that much for the handheld, go for it.  Doesn't bother me. 

I knew you would, I was backing you up but yeah my limit was 200 for a handheld and 300 for home console... the 3DS has pushed me to 250... but I still limit myself to 200 for a norm, 3DS is just a special case lol.
