So, what's the difference between this and the other hundred shooters out there?

Simple, it plays nothing like them.

That's pretty specific, thanks for the info.

It's a tactical, squad-based shooter. It requires you to lead teams in different directions and depends on a specific play style. If you really need to know, it takes two seconds to YouTube it and watch footage.

It's not anyone's job to spoon feed something simple to you.

I think you're confusing this with SOCOM's 1-3 :) --> Those games were acutally about stealth, tactics and controlling a team. This game looks like an average shooter that's made to be accessible to everyone which is proven by the inclusion of move controls. Its time for people to admit SOCOM sucks now and has gone casual, which is sad because SOCOM 2 was about as hardcore as a game got and I loved it.

Watch the video I posted, nothing but stealth gameplay. Besides, how can you say a game sucks without playing it?

Because it's Chairman....

Socom is still Socom, but we learned something, having Move controls means casual... guess that Guerilla made KZ3 casual with their Move controls.... No seriously what kind of reasoning is that. Socom will still be Socom because Zipper is still Zipper, but you will never know that Socom hasn't changed that much, because I guess you're not going to buy it, and you were not planning on buying it no matter what.

OT: Arrhhh Socom, so many good memories, Fucken Day 1 purchase.

I was as big of a SOCOM fan as anyone back in the SOCOM 2 and 3 days and so far from what I've seen SOCOM 4 looks way different. Even ignoring the fact its no longer a US Navy SEAL team just look at the difference in environments from previous games to this one, its all urban in this one which isn't a lot of fun. And yeah move does make it somewhat casual as well. I guess just after waiting so long for another good SOCOM game (last good one was SOCOM 3) I have too high of expectations.

Last good Socom was Socom 2, that didn't stop me from enjoying S3, but it was miles away from S1/S2 quality. Nonetheless I trust Zipper because it's their franchise, they made it and it's still in their hands.
