again doesn't matter how many games gets released, or where they get released. The WW SW numbers won't change for the week. It's not 'false' interpretation at all, it's just how it is. Lack of game releases AND localization efforts are also part of the problem, because even Nintendo get's games (maybe not as much as others) on the wii in Jp as well. Either way why beat the dead horse anymore (PETA WILL SUE US DAMN IT! :P)..this is last weeks. Let's see how Wii does SW front this week

Wii worldwide software numbers are higher then PS3/360. Last Week PS3 slightly got past Wii due to Killzone 3, but not until spring/summer will Wii software numbers go below the HD consoles.

It's just Wii doesn't have too many new blockbuster titles compared to PS3/360. The HD consoles got Dead Space 2, BulletStorm, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and for PS3 LBP2 and Killzone 3. Wii hasn't seen anything new since November.

However where Wii makes up is that some of it's bigger games are indefinatly implemented into the top 30, and pretty much any new software by Nintendo becomes at least a 5 million seller. Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus, and New Super Mario Bros Wii are all 20 million plus titles, and they are still among the top 30. DKCR, Wii Party, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Just Dance 2 are 5-10 million sellers and they also will stay in the top 30 for most of the year.

How many 20 million sellers do PS3/360 have? How many 10 million plus? Even 5 million plus sellers, Nintendo is devestating Sony and MS, hence software is still high. However PS3 and 360 get a lot of 1.5 - 5 million sellers, Nintendo doesn't.

So your original comment was about the top 10, and your right Nintendo is fairly absent from the top 10 after you remove Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resorts. However total software sales for Wii are still overall higher then 360/PS3, but during the non holiday years, about on par.

Anyway, I wish they would localize more Japanese Wii games here. The Last Story looks really cool. That's the only game I know that looks good that's not being localized.
