What's also interesting to note, Killzone 2 didn't push as much hardware as KZ3 did. Just one of the facts that lead me to believe that it may have the better legs in the long run.

Thats not quite true. The week Killzone 2 launched it boosted hardware by 32%. The week Killzone 3 launched it boosted hardware by 17%. Yes Killzone 2 was released prior to the Slim PS3, in a time when PS3 sales were much less, but still.

It really depends how you look at it, but I think a game that launched earlier into a consoles lifetime, when there is less competition among games, and boosted more sales will likely have stronger legs.

Still 1.5-2.5 million is very likely for KZ3. About the same range as HR.
