What's your take on the "anyone who wants to buy X exclusive already bought Y console" stance everyone likes to throw around? You see these exclusives moving that many consoles?

No not really moving a whole lot, really depends on the game, but if the PS3 is getting exclusives month after month, a lot more compared to the competition, then eventually thats gonna catch up to them and a lot of consumers are going to notice the amount of different games the PS3 has over the X360.
