Allow me to answer this question, and also the people asking why SW sales are way up.
There are a couple of reasons:
- This week, and next, Tesco has cut 20% off EVERYTHING video game related. Consoles, SW, memory cards, points cards, accessories... I know I bought a couple of games because of this!
- The 3DS has been the focal point of many gaming retailers here. So a lot of consoles are getting price cuts/bundles (for example, you can get a Wii, Wiimote, Nunchuck, MKWii and 4 wheels for only #99, that's about 35% off compared to last week!)
- Gaming stores are in a sales period, slashingprices everywhere
- Advertisements have been steep this week for older games.
Or, of course, it's just adjustments
