If it's stressed that they have to liason between Retro and Nintendo then I would expect we are guessing about an already existing first party Nintendo franchise.
I think it's a given that DKCR2 is coming out, it's just a matter of which console it will come out for. Wii1 or Wii2. I say Wii2. The other title I suspect is Metroid because sales of Other M were dismal and that was the first non-retro metroid in a while.
Nintendo has also mentioned that they were dissapointed with the latest installment of Sega's F-zero GX (I thought it was awesome despite sales. Last I'll see of a title like that I think). So they will want to change companies on that. But there are a million possibilities. I'd rather stick with a new DK or Metroid for guesses.
