============================================ "Nintendo 3DS hardware is available in three versions: Japanese, American and European/Australian." the Nintendo statement disclosed. As a final point, the statement concluded: "Guidance will appear on every packaging of Nintendo 3DS hardware and the accompanying software. If you are in doubt, Nintendo recommends that you only purchase Nintendo 3DS software in the region where you purchased your Nintendo 3DS system." http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/32490/Nintendo_Responds_To_3DS_Region_Lock_Reports.php ---- That is what they have said. So what I can gather from that is that the developers will choose if they want to region lock the software or not. Hopefully most won't. In anycase it will be clear on the box. The hardware seem to be better taylored to the local markets. |
Well I don't buy Consoles or Games from Australia anyway so it so it so it doesn't mater to me anyway.
