Yes, Bulletstorm is a good example of a game that would sell better on the 360 then PS3. 360 has a larger US audience, which is more shooter oriented. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 should help PS3 numbers though to be fair.

The only problem with the Bulletstorm boost is that Killzone 3 is coming out that week as well bundled. That should even/make PS3 boost a bit higher.

Yea, but isn't Marvel Vs. Capcom coming out at a similar time? I agree, the week of Killzone 3, PS3 sales should bump above 360, but sales will still be close, and the gap between the two consoles should remain steady.

My original point was that this is true because Kinect has raised 360's popularity in general, and most of the better games are HD multiplatformers (Yes Killzone, and LBP score over 9/10, but so did Dead Space, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and it's likely that Bulletstorm Dragon Age 2, and Test Drive get high scores as well).

MvC comes out a week earlier than Bulletstorm and Killzone 3. My point was moreso that the gap that should be significant for Bulletstorm will be slightly skewed that week thanks to Killzone 3.

And I agree, the HD multiplatforms are killing everything right now. But you also have to keep in mind, the Wii can only sell so many systems before sales start to drop and it's software is kind of in a dry spell. Also, most devs are now focusing on NGP and 3DS so the DS and PSP are going to steadily drop as people anticipate the next gen handhelds.

Wii also tends to sell better in the holidays as its games appeal more to casual gamers. Still HD Consoles FTW.
