So... what VGC is telling us, is that X360 sells more than twice more than PS3 and only 200k more software?

Basically: X360 tie ratio these weeks:

Week Software Hardware Tie Ratio
01.22.11 1,357,819 122,298 11.1
01.29.11 1,608,912 140,247 11.47
02.05.11 1,224,431 130,444 9.39
02.12.11 1,240,649 135,447 9.16

And for the PS3:

Week Software Hardware Tie ratio
01.22.11 1,360,478 74,861 18.17
01.29.11
1,342,222 72,129 18.6
02.05.11 1,040,463 67,619 15.39
02.12.11
1,034,564 66,449 15.57

You see, this just... kind of sucks, and really because last year it was this way: X360:

Week
Software
Hardware
Tie Ratio
01.23.10 1,133,775 88,276 12.84
01.30.10 1,694,962 118,268 14.33
02.06.10 1,000,861 103,255 9.69
02.13.10 1,413,698 123,539 11.44

And PS3:

Week
Software
Hardware
Tie ratio
01.23.10
900,360 94,795 9.5
01.30.10
1,020,899 96,339 10.6
02.06.10
932,682 91,456 10.2
02.13.10
1,151,904 103,808 11.1

See, either fucked up or overtracked, or something strange is happening, people only buying the console.
