:P it was all in good humor, I hope the guy keeps going too
and yea I was thinking of Ninokuni DS, when I mentioned price cut too was TLS marketed heavily? I know they hada conference and all so I guess yeah?
I hope Ni No Kuni PS3 does better, way better....that game is looking amazing
wonder if VC3 will come directly as a NGP title to the west..do you think considering how low costs are for psp development in comparison, that game will make a profit?

Yeah TLS was marketed a lot, you had famous Japanese people in commercials, the conference itself, then you had huge marketing in stores. It wasn't marketing on DQ/FF level...but definetely marketing on a level above most JRPG's.
Yeah Ninokuni PS3 is looking amazing but TLS has broken my faith in a new IP JRPG selling a lot in Japan. WKC could have been a new great franchise, but the games simply weren't that good, Level-5 really had something special thetre and while WKC hasn't died like Bruno said, its definetely a big missed opportunity at making a big new RPG franchise. Ninokuni is another chance at that, lets see what happens.
That would be good for VC3, it would actually sell then. FF Type-0 should get the same treatment. In NPD MGS:PW, KH:BBS all sold below 300K...what hope does FF Type-0 have of doing well in the West on the PSP, I wish for a quick switch to NGP, pray for it actually.
I think VC3 should make a profit, I mean surely VC2's engine dev costs are gone for VC3 and it wasn't heavily marketed...I mean VC3 might just need 200K or something to make a profit.

yeah I hope they launch with NGP as well...Black Panther, VC3, Type-0 will make the line up amazing and I'll buy all 3! (seriously I think VC2 might be my GOTY 2010 now)
and besides Duodecim and 3rd Bday will keep my psp happy and active till NGP

3rd B'day should be switched to NGP too, there is no way its selling well on PSP in the West, I am worried about its possibilities of ever making a profit. Duodecim should do well enough to make a profit though.
