Before christmas; "The Wii won't outsell the others this holiday season, it needs a price cut."
Holidays arrive, Wii sells very well; "HAH! Told ya! Wii doesn't need a price cut!"
January 2011 arrives, Wii drops like a rock; what now?
PS: Some people, me included, suggested that the Wii could have a stellar holiday and still start losing momentum horribly fast post-holiday and have a perilous 2011. This notion was scoffed at, it was believed that it would "carry the momentum from the holdiay season."
