You mean like the DC controller? I think that small would be innefficient. I had no clue Viper got Nintendo talking about their next console. I've tried many times then again I never co-founded a very successful forum. The problem of buying two consoles has never stopped Nintendo in the past, their have been several games on GC and N64 that used the GBC and later GBA in gameplay.
I think using the 3DS in conjunction with the Wii or the next Nintendo console will be an irreplaceble experiance.
