Agent is an unknown game--even among people who've actually heard of it. Zelda is a great series--possibly the greatest in all of gaming--but people don't camp out to buy Zelda games on day one. The games always sell very well but they do so over the course of months/years. I suspect Gears will probably sell a few MILLION in its first day. It won't break any records like a Call of Duty or Halo but I think it will definitely be the biggest launch of the year.

zelda has camping or not,it has a big fanbase.
it will be a tough battle between them
as for AGENT,if you think ROCKSTAR NORTH next game won't do anything great then you gotta think gain.
just look at RED DEAD REDEMPTION,an unknown name but sold 7m
and as AGENT is SONY's next big exclusive and one of the few big ones this generation,they will market it to hell and hardcores will surely buy a ROCKSTAR product.

I dunno if Zelda could ever affect Gears sales, they are different genres on different consoles, and probably have different sets of fans with small overlaps.
As for Agent, well it is an unknown game, and even though Red Dead Redemption sold so well, Black Ops is the best selling CoD title, and Halo Reach is comparable to Halo 3. I also really doubt a 2011 release with L.A. Noire coming out in May.

i wasn't saying that ZELDA will take or harm GEARS sales,just that its fanbase even being different can get the game that high
where did BLACK OPS,LA NOIRE,HALO REACH and HALO 3 comparision come from?

Someone said Agent will affect Gears 3 sales, and I was just pointing out that Red Dead didn't affect Halo, or CoD sales.
It's also completly fine if Zelda sells 8 million the same year as Gears, they probably won't budge each other at all. Just Dance 2 sold 5 million last fall, DKCR, and Wii Party also got 4 million each. It's just a different market

Then you proceded to talk about how Agent could be a massive game, and compared it to Red Dead Redemption.
I was only pointing out that Agent and Zelda probably won't affect Gears 3 sales, Modern Warfare 3 might though.
