This. Just because we think it's wrong it doesn't make it so.

Well, murdering someone for being unfaithful is hardly right by any measure. Variations in culture be damned. Hitler didn't think he was doing something wrong, he thought he was doing the world a great service. Does the fact that someone practices something out of belief or tradition make it right? I say no. There is also the tradition in medicine in certain parts of Africa to have sex with infants and small children to cure AIDS, they believe it works. Is that also right, then? Its not even illegal! Murder, genocide and torture are never right, no matter the belief. I'm not an idealist, not even close but of this much I am certain.
