edit: To people saying that these optional downloads are to help cover costs of the game, you probably shouldnt post that opinion in a thread about one of the best selling games of the generation selling DLC for more than what comparable games sell them for. Save that for bombs like Enslaved or something like that. |
Not everyone is saying it's to cover the cost of the game, it's to cover costs of being a company as a whole. Activision sells it DLC at a premium because they know it will sell and that DLC helps cover costs of another game that didn't make money. Look at the company as a whole, not just a single game.
