I meant the 3G version which is sort of more like a tablet than a portable media player. If Nintendo sold it however you'd add at least another $100 onto each version! I think the 3G version may somewhat subsidise the lower price version like how Microsoft did with the 360 Arcade and Premium SKUs.

I don't think the PSP2 is coming this year in the west at least. They won't have time to ramp production...

Then we agree. And yeah, just going by Sony's own comments, the likelyhood of a worldwide launch in 2011 doesn't seem guaranteed, even if Sony would like it.
