Yeah, IMO Nintendo made a big mistake in 2010 by not releasing any HUGE system pushing games causing Wii's Holiday momentum to slow at a fast pace...in Japan and Worldwide. 2006 had Wii Sports 2007 had Wii Play(it may have only been because it was bundled with a Wii Remote but it still pushed systems.) 2008 had both Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit 2009 had Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii 2010 had...? That is the problem. Nintendo released many big and decent Wii games in 2010 but nothing HUGE like with the 20 Million plus sellers mentioned above. It will all come down to if Nintendo has a HUGE Wii game or not in 2011...IMO that game/games will have something to do with the V.S and that alone will be enough for the Wii to come out on top. It would be different if Move was successful in Japan but as of now it failed. |
Yeah, but really, what HUGE game could Nintendo have up their sleeve for the Wii this holiday? Especially when you look at the 3DS as well...
