Vanquish is a multiplatform game with HD assets, which require much more manpower. It's obviously made with a much higher budget than either MadWorld and The Conduit, and probably both combined as well.

Yeah... only if I played Madworld. Perhaps I own it? Regardless, it apparently had a big budget all together.

Common sense tells you me you don't know how much it cost or man power it took to make Vanquish. The lack of marketing tells me Sega and Platinum kept Vanquish low risk.

Games like Sniper: Ghost Warior and Metro 2033 didn't sell much better and have been very proftiable. Hence, you can't always assume a HD game with nice visuals is a big budget title.
