No, in fact I think it will do quite the opposite. Casuals (that is, the grandmas and babies who comprise the Nintendo audience) will be exposed to real games like Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid for the first time with the 3DS. Then they will run out to the store and upgrade to a PS3.
