weakest characters in any ff? thats a bit extreme considering in ff 1 and 3 the characters dont even talk (or very little, its been about 5 years since i played those). let alone the fact they are merely referred to as the light warriors in ff1. now maybe if you compare the characters to ff7-ff10 then i might agree with you. and how is the battle system repetitive? if i recall in every other ff theres has been around 4 basic category of moves with specified attacks in each category. the truth is, the makers of this game went a little out of the boundaries of the typical final fantasy and so many people are afraid of change they are criticizing a very good piece of work. besides, if its so bad, why dont you try getting a team of animators, programmers, voice actors, and the like to make the game that should have been ff13.
